Suru descriptions:

From thisheartsonfire.com:
It looks like someone took a shop out of Tokyo and dropped it down on Melrose.

SURU, co-owned by Joe Hahn (DJ for the band Linkin Park) and Noel Aladadyan, is one of LA's hottest stores. It's a super sleek minimal white shop that carries a rotating line of tees designed every few
months in limited quantities by select artists and designers, as well as a stock of lines like PRPS, Y-3, and the store's own brand aptly named SURU.New for Spring/Summer 2007: Kenzo Minami,
Ju$t Another Rich Kid, Maharishi, and
House 33.

In addition to tees, they carry jeans, toys, and, of course, sneakers. And in true LA style, the roster of celebs sporting tees and other goods from the shop is impressive: from Ashton and Demi to
Dave Navarro and Kanye West, to name just a few.

From Wikipedia:
SURU™ (which means "hand printed" or "print by hand" in Japanese) is a concept retail store and brand which
focuses on limited edition items including small production run artist driven clothing, import footwear and jeans, rare and hard to find collectable vinyl toys,
as well as paintings and artworks from local and international artists.
The concept retail store and brand is the brainchild of owners Joe Hahn from the rock band Linkin Park
and private investor Noel Aladadyan. Situated on the infamous Melrose Avenue and nestled between Urban Outfitters and Brooklyn Projects, the SURU™
retail experience is inspired by the innovative and minimalistic approach of Japanese retail spaces. Key features of the space includes a ceiling conveyor encased in glass.
